Welcome to
Woodville, the hub of the Tararua! A fantastic halfway stopover for anyone travelling from Hawke's Bay to Wellington, the village offers many cafes, the well known Yummy Mummies Cheesecakes and a recently opened specialised Baileys fudge shop, amazing florist and Sarah Jones gift shop with something for everyone.
For the outdoors there are five trout rivers all starting with M - Manawatū, Mangatainoka, Makuri, Mangahao and Mangamaire and the Mangaone. The Gorge walk is also a great chance to view the now closed gorge and river whilst walking through picturesque trees.
Whariti Peak is a great attraction with great views of Tararuas to the East Coast and also a fab place to take fish and chips and watch the sunset over Palmerston North
The people are friendly, the square is a great place to relax, and with the new highway, Palmerston North is going to be quick and easy to access.

Crafted by renowned architect, Robert Talboys, this cherished residence showcases beautiful timber detailing and thoughtful design throughout. Nestled on 5,059 m2 (approx) of private grounds and graced with stunning river views, 33 Riverbank Road is a property that truly tells a story — lovingly named ‘Rivercroft’, the property has been held and cared for by the same family for nearly 30 years. From the moment you arrive, the home’s timeless wood architecture and lush, leafy setting create an air of quiet elegance. Inside, rich wood detailing sets a warm, inviting tone across a large living room, three generous bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate office, all thoughtfully arranged across two levels to offer both comfort and flexibility. A formal dining room, rich in character, provides the option for a fourth bedroom or additional living space — perfect for growing families or hosting guests. Step into the beautifully sundrenched covered deck area, your private haven for morning coffees and evening wines. Sit and watch the rowers paddle gracefully on the sparkling river below, and even wave to the historic Waimarie paddle steamer as it glides past —a quintessential Whanganui moment. It’s a scene straight out of a postcard — and it's all yours. But the charm doesn’t stop there. Outdoors, the home continues to impress with beautifully maintained grounds, a studio room nestled within the double garage (ideal for artists, teens or hobbies), workshop and ample vehicle storage including three-car garaging plus a single carport. Just a short seven-minute drive from the city centre, this riverside sanctuary feels like a world of its own. 33 Riverbank Road is more than just a home — it’s steeped in love, history and heart. Come see why it’s been adored for decades — and why you’ll never want to leave.

The pinnacle of perfection offering the ultimate in luxury living. Architecture blends relaxation with formality here, creating a slice of residential heaven that is hard to define in words alone, priority viewing is by far your best option. Let's start with the electronic gates opening to a grand circular driveway entering an impressive land mass of 2412m2 (approx), all totally private with neighbours separated by terraced plots and very mature plantings. A meandering pathway through established woodlands leads to Maggies Way, with its tranquil trail walks and manmade lakes, accentuated by birdsong from the resident Tui, Kereru and Piwakawaka. Within landscaped gardens and outdoor living escapes; sits the pool area nestled and secluded, a statement of grandeur which adds definite family appeal. Step inside, through the formal entrance and you're ready to begin a personal tour, there's a lot to take in, around 427m2 (approx) of superb living. Four bedrooms are serviced by two significant ensuites and a family bathroom all highly specified and located within a dedicated wing, the main bedroom, office and den are situated upstairs, perhaps an ideal 'personal adults' space or work from home option. Downstairs flows continuously connecting a gorgeous kitchen, private courtyard and family room, a main lounge plus informal and formal dining, all areas designed around magical vistas of the garden, pool and surrounding natural bush. An opportunity exists now to own this magnificent designer home that will not disappoint on any level, call today for your private viewing appointment or join us at the next open home.
