Livestock has been sold at the Feilding sale yards since 1880; every Monday and Friday, you can watch the action of the live auctions (this is unique as Feilding is one of the last towns to still have a sale yard in the centre of town).

Palmerston North City is only a few minutes away, and Whanganui, 40 minutes north. And with Massey University and the Ohakea military base not too far of a drive away, you can be rest assured that jobs and the future of the mighty Manawatū are firm and secure.
