Welcome to

Historic and filled to the brim with old-world charm! Te Aroha is nestled at the foot of Mount Te Aroha, the highest point in the Kaimai Range. This beautiful rural town in the Waikato region is renowned for its gorgeous scenery, soda water geyser and warm, welcoming community.

Mt Te Aroha, the mountain of love, is the highest point in the Kaimai ranges and flows to the Coromandel. Te Aroha has the only mineral hot soda water geyser in the world with thermal hot water tubs.

With around 30,000 bathers visiting each year in the late 1800s, Te Aroha became the most popular spa town in New Zealand. Flowing from beneath Mount Te Aroha, the natural hot soda springs were renowned as a cure-all. Overlooking the Edwardian Domain sits Domain House Beauty offering a range of beauty and massage treatments.

Varying in temperature, some mineral springs contain naturally infused underground sodium bicarbonate, resulting in natural hot soda springs. And an effort to improve access to the soda water resulted in a bore being sunk in the 1930s - this resulted in the Mokena Geyser, the world's only hot water geyser. The geyser is named after the Maori Chief who gifted the land.

Some sections come with a long list of rules. This one comes with a view. Perched in an elevated position with bush bordering two sides, this generous section offers privacy, space and a stunning outlook that's hard to beat. With no covenants, you're free to build the home you want - not the one someone else approves of. The section sits within the flood zone, so building will require resource consent and a flood assessment. It's all part of the process, and for the buyer who sees the bigger picture, the reward is a site in a truly special setting. It's not just the section that makes this property appealing - it's the lifestyle that comes with it. Enjoy a short walk to Te Aroha's town centre for your morning coffee, the Te Aroha Domain, mineral spas and the Mount Te Aroha summit, or simply soak up the peaceful bush setting and the sound of the nearby creek. With the Hauraki Rail Trail running through town and Auckland International Airport approximately 130 kilometres away, this location is equally suited to a permanent home, a weekend escape or a holiday base. To make the opportunity even more compelling, a recent registered valuation has been completed, and the asking price is set below that valuation. If you've been looking for a section that offers both lifestyle and value, this is one worth a closer look. Bring the plans, bring the vision, and create something worth looking at. Valuation and historic LIM report available.

Built by David Reid Homes and tucked away in a peaceful semi-rural cul-de-sac, this is lifestyle living with a touch of overachievement. Set on a generous section just minutes from town, you get the breathing room without the long commute — the perfect balance of “country calm” and “I still need a decent coffee within five minutes.” Inside, it’s all about space done properly. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is made for everyday life, while the separate formal lounge steps in when you want a bit of peace… or somewhere to send the kids when the game gets serious. There are three genuinely good-sized bedrooms, plus a primary suite that feels like it’s been given a promotion — complete with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The family bathroom is wheelchair-friendly with dual access, which is both practical and quietly brilliant for guests or extended family. And then there’s the storage. Not the “we’ll make it work” kind — the “we planned this properly” kind. A full attic with a built-in staircase, excellent storage throughout, and a laundry that actually understands how a household operates (plus a separate W/C to keep things civil). Garaging? Sorted. Large double internal access, plus a high-stud single for the boat, caravan, or that project you swore wouldn’t get out of hand. It’s peaceful, spacious, and just a little bit smug about how well it all works.
