Since 2018, the Tong family has built More RE into one of Cambridge’s most respected independent real estate businesses, earning a reputation for exceptional service, innovation and genuine local relationships.

From Friday 14 August, that story begins an exciting new chapter as More RE joins the Property Brokers family.

For clients, the change is simple. The same trusted local people will continue to be there, with the same commitment to personalised service and local knowledge, now backed by the strength, reach and collaborative support of Property Brokers.

Two family businesses with plenty in common

Founded by Peter and Wendy Tong, alongside their son Jason and daughter-in-law Lily, More RE was built around a straightforward idea: put people first.

Through genuine relationships, personalised service and a commitment to doing the right thing by clients, the business has become a highly regarded part of the Cambridge community.

It’s an approach that feels very familiar to Property Brokers.

Founded in 1986, Property Brokers has grown from a single provincial office into one of New Zealand’s largest family-owned real estate companies, with more than 90 offices and over 950 property professionals working together across regional New Zealand.

While the business has grown, the values behind it have remained much the same. A handshake still means something. The little things still make a difference. And when you work with one Property Brokers salesperson, you have a whole team working for you.
