Property Brokers has further strengthened its global connections through its membership in Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), following its participation in the 2026 LeadingRE Asia Pacific Forum and Investor Exchange in Tokyo.
As one of the world’s most respected real estate networks, LeadingRE brings together independently owned, market-leading real estate firms from across the globe. Fewer than 20 percent of companies that apply for membership are accepted, making Property Brokers’ place in the network a strong endorsement of its service, market leadership and trusted reputation.
Eight members of the Property Brokers team attended the Tokyo forum, joining more than 50 real estate professionals and investors from 19 countries to build relationships, share market insights and explore opportunities across international property markets.
For Property Brokers’ Managing Director Guy Mordaunt, the event reinforced the value of being part of a network that extends far beyond New Zealand.

The forum featured 34 speakers covering global property trends, artificial intelligence, innovation and international investment. The inaugural Investor Exchange also connected more than 100 Japanese international property investors with LeadingRE members from around the world.
For Property Brokers, it was another opportunity to showcase the strength of New Zealand’s residential, rural and commercial property markets to a highly engaged international audience.
Mordaunt says New Zealand’s long-term fundamentals continue to attract overseas interest.

Following the forum, LeadingRE Japan member and event host Manabu Suzuki travelled to New Zealand, where he was hosted by Property Brokers’ Waikato Commercial Manager Alan Copeman to explore regional investment opportunities on behalf of Japanese investors.
Mordaunt says these face-to-face relationships are critical when building confidence across borders.

Property Brokers is also continuing to strengthen its relationship with fellow LeadingRE member Belle Property Group in Australia, led by CEO Nick Boyd.
The relationship creates further opportunities for buyers, vendors and investors operating across both sides of the Tasman, while extending access to trusted property professionals in another key market.
