Agrichemical waste
Agrichemical waste deserves a special mention due to the important measures required in their legal disposal.
Plastic waste
Plastic waste includes:
- Drums
- Silage wrap
- Silage covers
- Shrink wrap
- Feed bags
- Twine
- Polypropylene bags
- Bale net
- Pit covers
- Irrigation pipes
These can be disposed of through Agrecovery, Plasback or similar. Plastic waste is also suitable for recycling if clean and dry.
Green and brown waste
Vegetative waste present on the farm may include:
- Tree branches
- Fallen trees
- Hedge trimmings
Mechanical/metallic waste
- Scrap metal
- Used oil
- Tyres
- Machinery
- Motors
Many of these items can either be sold to scrapyards, or disposed of through the recovery services mentioned above.
Other common farm waste that needs to be disposed of before the sale includes:

- Domestic refuse
