About Rowena
With more than 30 years in the property industry, Rowena brings extensive experience across real estate with the technology, recruitment, business ownership and leadership space. Throughout her career, her focus has remained firmly on people, building trusted relationships, developing strong teams and delivering exceptional outcomes.
Rowena began her real estate career in Taupō, spending over a decade with one of the town’s leading agencies before moving to Melbourne to help run a specialist real estate technology company. She spent many years leading the recruitment division for Melbourne's largest privately owned real estate network of over 500 staff. In 2021 Rowena started Melbourne first female led real estate recruitment company.
Taupō has always been home, and after many years in Melbourne, Rowena returned to take on the role of Area Manager for Property Brokers South Waikato. Today she leads the Taupō, Tūrangi and Putāruru offices. A key part of Rowena’s role is leading, motivating and developing the people within her teams. She is passionate about creating an environment where people feel inspired to perform, confident to grow and supported to succeed. Her leadership style combines energy and encouragement with clear expectations and accountability, challenging her teams to recognise their potential, build their businesses and continually strive for greater success.
