What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.
After many rewarding years with Ray White, I’ve recently joined Property Brokers to reconnect with the part of real estate I’ve always loved the most: people. For me, it has never just been about property; it’s about building genuine, lasting relationships and being a trusted part of your journey, whether you're buying, selling, or simply exploring your options.
A buyer once said to me, “You know the difference between a house and a home.” That stayed with me, because it’s exactly how I approach real estate. It’s not just about transactions. It’s about understanding the memories, meaning, and emotion tied to where we live. It’s about people, whānau, and community.
I come from a rich heritage: my father is from Ngāpūtahi in Te Urewera, and my mother is from Matangirau on the East Coast of the Far North. I share my life with a kind and gentle man from Panguru in the Northern Hokianga.
My whānau have lived under the spell of the Ngongotahā maunga and community since 1997, and there’s no place I’d rather be. We are lucky to have five generations of our whānau still present and thriving today, which is a rare and beautiful thing. From peaceful lakeside walks to the beauty of our parks and fishing streams, Ngongotahā is a special place and I’m proud to call it home.
My real estate journey began in 2005 with Coopers Real Estate, which later became Ray White Rotorua. Over the years, I've gained experience, insight, and a deep appreciation for the ever-evolving nature of the industry. But what has never changed for me is the value of authentic connection, taking the time to listen, to understand, and to support people through what is often one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Now at Property Brokers, I’m returning to that foundation: slowing down, checking in, staying in touch. Not just during a sale, but well beyond it. Real estate is about people, and I genuinely enjoy keeping up with mine.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is my family. They are the reason I strive to be better every day, as a parent, a role model, and a professional. They keep me grounded, motivated, and deeply connected to what matters most.
