I am a trusted Real Estate Consultant with Property Brokers Hokitika, known for my integrity, strong work ethic and deep local knowledge. As a qualified professional, I bring more than 35 years of experience across the timber, hospitality, transport and contracting industries, including 12 years as a business owner. This diverse background allows me to provide clear advice, follow rigorous processes, and deliver reliable results for my clients.
My long-standing service as a Senior Firefighter with the Hokitika Volunteer Fire Brigade and as an Honorary Fish & Game Ranger has kept me closely connected to the community. These roles have given me the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, communicate effectively under pressure, resolve issues calmly and build lasting relationships based on trust and service.
That frontline experience has strengthened my communication, negotiation, and people skills, ensuring my clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout every stage of their property journey - from appraisal through to settlement. I pride myself on being down-to-earth yet highly professional, combining honest, straightforward advice with a people-first approach that makes the real estate process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, fishing, music, rugby and spending time outdoors, as well as making the most of time with my two adult sons.
