About Jenny
Jenny was raised and educated in the Manawatu. After schooling she entered retail work and hospitality, sharpening her customer service skills. She then took time out to start her family. During this period, she worked part-time in several gyms in the Manawatu as an instructor.
When returning to the workforce full time she started in the office for a liquor outlet. After a short time, she was appointed as the manager of the wholesale branch of this company. This was a demanding role dealing with cafés, bars, restaurants, retail branches and freight companies. Looking for better work and family balance she entered Property Management.
When entering the industry in 2005, she started in administration with her duties being the 1st point of contact for the rentals department sorting inspections for property managers, dealing with the rent arrears for the whole company and dealing with all the financial transactions. This experience gave Jenny a great background on all the behind-the-scenes workings of Property Management. She quickly moved into a Property Management role with 160 properties. She soon became well known for her high level of service and attention to detail. She progressed to the Senior Property Manager in the office and was then promoted to Divisional Manager of Rentals. This opportunity gave her a very high level of experience with people skills, staff training and dispute resolution.
Jenny has been with Property Brokers since 2017. She feels great being back in the industry that she loves. She relishes the challenges of working with the public and building relationships with both owners and tenants.
Outside of work she is family-focused, she loves being at the beach with her dogs and reading books.
