Jason Roebuck
Rural/Commercial Sales Consultant
About Jason
Jason’s family’s working life has spanned the breadth of the primary sector - deer, sheep and beef, horticulture, livestock trading and rural transport — giving him a lifelong understanding of what it takes to be a farmer, grower, and producer. He came to real estate in 2026 not as a change of direction but to leverage his experience and influence, in support of the Hawkes Bay property market and wider economy.
That grounding sits alongside real commercial depth. A commerce graduate of the University of Otago, with further study in commercial and property law, selected to attend a NZ Primary Sector programme at Stanford, and has recently completed the Rural Leaders - Value Chain Innovation Program at Lincoln. Jason brings personal experience with owning commercial and residential property portfolios. Locally, he chairs the Hawke’s Bay A&P Investment Trust and is Vice President of Hawke’s Bay Racing - roles reflecting his comfort governing significant assets.
What sets Jason apart is real life experience across rural, lifestyle and commercial property. He understands where land use is heading, not just what it has been, and works comfortably alongside the lawyers, bankers and accountants as required. His approach is simple: know the market, know the property, know the people.
Horses have been a constant thread in Jason’s life - his equine background runs deep, spanning sport horses, racing, breeding, and young-horse training. Hands-on by nature, he runs his own forge and shoes his own horses, rasp and hammer passed down the generations. He remains an active member of the Dannevirke and Hawke’s Bay Hunts.
Whether you’re buying, selling or planning your next move, he brings integrity, genuine rural understanding, commercial sharpness and a straight-talking commitment to the right result - so you can be confident your property is in capable, well-connected hands.
