Bevan Bisset

Rural/Lifestyle Sales Consultant

About Bevan

Bevan was born and bred in Pahiatua, growing up on a sheep and beef farm in Hukanui, son of John and Pam Bisset and the youngest of three children. After attending Mangamaire School and the Tararua College, Bevan realised a passion for motorcycles at an early age and became an apprentice mechanic at the local Honda shop. Upon completing his apprenticeship, he headed over to Europe to become part of a professional race team, as a mechanic over two seasons. When he returned to New Zealand he was shoulder tapped to be a salesperson due to his knowledge and ability to relate to people. Not long after, the opportunity to purchase Carian Honda arose and with the backing of this family, he took a big leap into business ownership. Bevan’s role in the business (Bisset Honda) was always focused on sales and leadership and over the past 17 years his knowledge of local people and local land has grown to the point where he almost knows “everyone and everywhere”. In recent years, Bevan decided he needed a new challenge and after a very unexpected, but extremely timely, approach from another trusted brand, Property Brokers, decided that rural real estate might just be his new thing. Bevan is approachable, friendly, down-to-earth and an excellent proven salesperson, easily capable of closing sales. When he’s not out selling, you’ll find Bevan at the Tararua Squash Club, where he holds the role of President or at a motorcycle event – be it a trail ride, a moto cross, a cross country or in more recent times, an adventure ride. Bevan is often found organising such events, previously a long-time member of the Bush Riders motorcycle club, where he held a number of different positions on the committee. Bevan resides on a small lifestyle property in Pahiatua, with partner Ingrid and two children – Ayla and Keegan. If you’re looking for Bevan, you’ll more than likely find him in some type of community event – whether it’s supporting the Squash Club, school, a fundraiser, a golf day or club day or bull sale – he's here, there and everywhere, connecting with the community. If you’re looking for a salesperson, with a genuine concern for the needs of his client, and more connections than you can throw a stick at, talk to Bevan today!
