Rural/Lifestyle Sales Consultant
About Andrew
Born and raised on family sheep and beef farms in the Albury and Maungati districts of South Canterbury, Andrew developed a deep appreciation for farming, the land and the close-knit rural communities that make the region such a special place to call home.
After beginning his career in engineering, and later spending time working in the mining industry in Western Australia, Andrew returned home to South Canterbury and to what he knew best - farming. Together with his wife, Ang, they operated a contract milking business for more than a decade, leading staff, working alongside farm owners and making the day-to-day decisions that kept a commercial dairy operation running successfully. That hands-on experience has given Andrew a genuine understanding of the challenges, opportunities and important decisions rural property owners face.
Now part of the Property Brokers team, Andrew is committed to helping clients throughout Geraldine, Temuka, Rangitata and the wider South Canterbury region achieve the best possible outcome when buying or selling rural and lifestyle property. He believes success comes from listening, communicating honestly and working hard to earn people's trust. Backed by the collective knowledge and experience of the Property Brokers rural team, Andrew offers clients the personal service of a local salesperson together with the strength, resources and support of one of New Zealand's leading rural real estate teams.
Away from work, Andrew has enjoyed an interesting rugby career, playing locally and overseas before returning home to South Canterbury. He has been involved with Geraldine JAB Rugby for the past eight years and is also a long-term member of the Rangitata Rural Fire Brigade. When he's not working or volunteering in the community, Andrew enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time on the water with family and friends.
Proud to call South Canterbury home, Andrew understands that selling a farm is more than just a transaction - it's often one of life's biggest decisions. He looks forward to helping farming families and rural property owners navigate that journey with confidence, honesty and genuine local knowledge.
