General
Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
The Promoter is Property Brokers Limited (“Property Brokers” or the “Promoter”), with its head office at 240 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North Central, Palmerston North.
Who Can Enter
Entry is open to New Zealand property owners in any provincial location where Property Brokers operates (see locations at https://www.propertybrokers.co.nz/contact), who meet the requirements set out below (“Eligible Entrants”).
Employees, contractors and immediate family members, including spouses, partners, parents, children and siblings, of Property Brokers are not eligible to enter.
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
How to Enter
To receive an entry into the prize draw, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Promotional Period:
list an eligible property for sale with Property Brokers by entering into an agency agreement with Property Brokers; or
engage Property Brokers to manage an eligible rental property by entering into a Property Management agreement with Property Brokers.
The relevant agency agreement or Property Management agreement must be signed during the Promotional Period.
Booking or completing a sales or rental appraisal alone does not constitute an entry into the promotion.
Entries associated with agreements that are cancelled, withdrawn, terminated or otherwise determined by the Promoter not to be genuine qualifying engagements may be deemed ineligible.
Entry into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Number of Entries Permitted
One entry will be awarded for each eligible property listed for sale with Property Brokers or signed up for Property Management during the Promotional Period.
Where an Eligible Entrant owns more than one property, each separate property that meets the entry requirements may generate one entry.
Where a property is jointly owned, the qualifying property will constitute one entry into the draw, rather than one entry per owner.
Family trusts and family-owned farming businesses may also enter, provided they are genuine personal, family, or family farming ownership structures.
Promotional Period
The promotion runs from 09:00 am Friday, 14 August 2026 until 11:59 pm Wednesday, 30 September 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
To qualify, the relevant agency agreement or Property Management agreement must be entered into during the Promotional Period.
Entries received outside the Promotional Period are not eligible.
Prize Draw
One eligible entry will be randomly selected as the winner following the close of the Promotional Period.
The prize draw will take place on or around Friday, 9 October 2026, and the winner will be contacted within five business days.
If the winner cannot be contacted within five business days, is found to be ineligible, has breached these Terms and Conditions, or is otherwise unable to accept the prize, Property Brokers reserves the right to redraw the prize.
The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility and the prize draw is final.
Prize on Offer
One winner will receive a Hawaii travel prize valued at NZ$15,000 (“Prize”).
The Prize is subject to availability and any booking, travel, airline, accommodation or supplier terms and conditions that apply.
Unless expressly included as part of the Prize, all additional costs associated with accepting and using the Prize are the responsibility of the winner. This may include passports, visas or other entry requirements, travel insurance, meals, transfers, spending money, activities and incidental expenses.
The winner and any travelling companion are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable travel and entry requirements. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or substituted by the winner.
If any component of the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Property Brokers’ control, Property Brokers reserves the right to substitute that component with an alternative of equal or greater value.
Winner Publicity
By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees that Property Brokers may use their name, suburb or region, photograph, video and/or other imagery associated with the promotion for reasonable promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation, subject to applicable law.
Property Brokers may contact the winner to arrange photographs, video or other promotional content relating to the winner announcement and/or Prize.
Further Terms and Conditions
Property Brokers reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant who provides false or misleading information, fails to meet the eligibility requirements or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.
Property Brokers reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend or terminate the promotion or these Terms and Conditions where reasonably necessary, including where circumstances outside its control affect the fair or proper administration of the promotion, provided this does not unfairly disadvantage entrants.
Property Brokers is not responsible for any technical issues, delays, incorrect contact information or other circumstances that prevent an eligible entry from being recorded or a winner from being contacted.
Privacy Collection Statement
Property Brokers collects personal information from entrants for the purposes of administering this promotion, verifying eligibility, conducting the prize draw and contacting the winner.
Personal information may also be used for marketing communications where permitted, unless the recipient opts out. All personal information will be handled in accordance with Property Brokers’ Privacy Policy (https://www.propertybrokers.co.nz/privacy-policy) and the Privacy Act 2020.
Liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, Property Brokers is not responsible for any loss, damage, expense or injury suffered in connection with participation in this promotion or acceptance and use of the Prize.
Property Brokers is not responsible for delays, cancellations, changes or other circumstances relating to travel or third-party suppliers that are outside its reasonable control.
The Promoter makes no representations or warranties regarding the Prize beyond those required by law.
