1. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
3. Entry is open to New Zealand property owners in any provincial location where Property Brokers operates (see locations here: https://www.propertybrokers.co.nz/contact), who meet the requirements set out below (“Eligible Entrants”). Eligible Entrants must book and complete a free property or rental appraisal with Property Brokers during the Promotional Period.
4. The Promoter is Property Brokers Limited (“Promoter”), with its head office at 240 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North Central, Palmerston North.
5. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members (including spouses, partners, parents, children, and siblings) of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.
6. To enter, Eligible Entrants must book a free property or rental appraisal in a qualifying location during the Promotional Period.
7. The appraisal must be conducted by a registered Property Brokers salesperson before the campaign end date. Cancelled or incomplete appraisals are ineligible.
8. No purchase is necessary to enter.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw a prize if the winner cannot be contacted within five business days, is found to be ineligible, or has breached these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final.
10. The Promoter may extend, amend, suspend, or terminate this promotion and these Terms and Conditions at any time, provided this does not unfairly disadvantage entrants.
11. If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, a substitute prize of equal or greater value may be offered.
12. The Promoter is not liable for any technical issues, delays, or other problems that prevent an entry from being received.
13. Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
14. One entry per completed sales or rental appraisal per Eligible Entrant:
a. Listing a property for sale with Property Brokers during the Promotional Period earns two additional entries. If the property goes unconditional during the Promotional Period, three more entries will be added.
b. Signing a property as a new management during the Promotional Period earns two additional entries.
c. If both 14a and 14b apply, entries are awarded cumulatively.
15. Trusts and business entities are not eligible to enter.
16. The promotion runs from 9 am Friday 15 August 2025 to 11:59 pm Tuesday 30 September 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
17. One regional finalist from each Property Brokers region will be selected on Friday 3 October 2025 and contacted by Wednesday 8 October 2025.
18. Property Brokers regions are: Northland/Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Whanganui/Rangitikei/Taranaki, Manawatu, Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa/Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
19. All regional finalists will go into a final random prize draw held via online video conference after 8 October 2025, at a date agreed with the finalists.
20. The finalist (or a nominated representative) must attend their nearest Property Brokers branch for the prize draw.
21. The prize draw will be filmed, and all finalists consent to their image and voice being used for promotional purposes in all media formats.
22. There is one grand prize of a Mortgage Holiday valued at NZ$35,000.
23. The total prize pool is valued at NZ$35,000. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, except as stated below.
24. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner’s name, suburb, and image for promotional purposes, without further compensation, in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
25. Automatic payments will be set up by Property Brokers to pay the winner’s mortgage for 12 months or until NZ$35,000 is reached.
26. If the winner has no mortgage, or their mortgage is less than $35,000. A cash prize of NZ$35,000 will be provided.
27. In the event of a relationship separation, the prize will be split evenly between partners as a cash prize.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information, fails to meet eligibility requirements, or breaches these Terms and Conditions.
29. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants for the purpose of administering this promotion and contacting winners. This information may also be used for marketing communications, unless the entrant opts out. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://www.propertybrokers.co.nz/privacy-policy) and the Privacy Act 2020.
30. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986), the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with this promotion.
31. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality or suitability of the prize beyond those required by law.
