Tucked away down a popular no exit road is this charming rustic home constructed of Cedar wood. You are welcomed by a charming large lobby area that connects the main home to the double garage that also has a carport to the side. The home is 261 sqm with the focal point being the lounge room with raked ceilings and picture windows. A heat pump and wood burner provide heat and cooling for the various seasons. The master bedroom has a large walk-in-wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom that can also be accessed by another bedroom. There is also a separate toilet and family bathroom. The 2ha of grounds are a mix of grazing land on the flats and gardens adorned with a myriad of fruit trees that are easily accessed for pruning and harvesting by the meandering man-made paths, a garden seat, and in one place a pond. Just a few trees to mention are the 12 varieties of apple including cider apples. Quinces, figs, lemons, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, feijoas and mandarin trees can also be spotted on your walk, as well as plums and a nectarine. An irrigation system is in place and fed by two water tanks from a trickle feed supply. The gardens can be accessed by a metal road around the gardens of the property. An old farm shed is good for storage and provides power by way of three phase and additional power source that once supplied a working kiln of the potter who previously resided here.
