Palmerston North Rentals
Phil has been a property manager since July 2005 and finds the job covers many different aspects of life. The role is challenging with no two days ever being the same. He is always at the ready to help out with the many situations that Property Management throws his way.
He moved into Property Management securing a job with Watson Real Estate and after 11.5 years with that company made the exciting move to Property Brokers in early May 2017. He has found Property Brokers to be very supportive and has fitted into the current team very well. Phil take the time to listen carefully to both tenants and owners issues, concerns and questions and will do his very best to offer a professional service to them all. He particularly likes a result that ends with happy and contented people. He fully understands that good communication is paramount.
Phil has successfully completed several modules to go towards gaining NZQA for the New Zealand Certificate of Residential Property Management.
Prior to Phils move into Property Management he was part owner of a family horticultural business for 14 years with his father and brother which operated from a lifestyle block in the beautiful Turitea Valley, Palmerston North. He is still very passionate about plants and continues to propagate plants as a bit of a hobby in his greenhouse at home.
Other personal interests outside of work include spending quality time with his wife of 24 years, enjoys cycling and supporting his son Ryan (22) and his daughter Livvy (19) in everything they do in their busy lives. He is a sports fanatic and especially loves soccer and tennis and is often told by his wife to turn the Sky sports channels off. He is quite partial to a red wine or 3 and spends a lot of time with a very loyal friend in his lovely little dog Louie (a Schitzu/Maltese cross)
