After a successful career in sales and business development in the very competitive apparel industry, Matt has now turned his sights onto real estate in Central Hawke’s Bay, a place his family has called home for generations. Matt has always had a passion for property, having been involved in ownership and investment for the past 15 years.

Matt has an extensive background in sales and marketing, not only across New Zealand but throughout Australasia. He prides himself on building long term relationships which more often than not turn into long term friendships. Matt is very much a people person, with a professional work ethic that is targeted at reaching the best outcome for his clients.

He has an infectious enthusiasm for whatever he sets his sights on, whether it is his horses, diving at local fishing spots or clowning around with his two daughters Addison and Britta. If his face seems familiar, it may be because you have seen him on stage with the Waipawa M&D, singing at community events or working hard as a volunteer fireman for the Otane Fire Brigade.

“Having worked away from home for the past 15 years and having a young family, I am excited to be able to bring to the Property Brokers team not only my passion for real estate, but extensive sales and marketing experience. My family and I live on a lifestyle property on the outskirts of Otane, and we also own a number of investment properties, so I understand what it is like to be making important decisions when it comes to your assets."
