Originally from Yorkshire in the UK Paul Whitaker is now Property Brokers Regional Manager for Hawkes Bay. His role is to oversee the daily operations and direction of the company throughout this region.
Paul was previously a professional cricketer in the UK, playing for Hampshire as well as representing England at under 17, 18 and 19 level age levels. After moving to NZ in 1992 he played cricket for Central Districts before an injury cut his career short.
In 1999 he took his competitive drive used on the sports field and joined Property Brokers as a sales consultant working out of Hastings. Paul became the top salesperson in the company winning the coveted Top Units award in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 selling 160 properties in his best year and completing transactions of $136 million. In 2003 he was promoted to Sales Manager of the Hastings office transforming it into the number one office in the company and in 2008 assumed the role of Regional Manager of the Hawkes Bay region.
Paul oversees the operations of the Hawkes Bay region and along with his management team plans the direction and growth of the region. Under Paul’s leadership the company has gained the dominant market share in the region, allowing them to claim that Property Brokers is the number one real estate company in Hawkes Bay.
Today Paul still enjoys his sport, is a proud Kiwi/Brit and loves the Hawkes Bay. He is married and lives in Taradale.
