For friendly, professional service
Whatever Mary has turned her hand to, she has been a high achiever! Mary’s first job was as a dancer in the Royal NZ Ballet Company, progressing to achieve the rank of soloist. On leaving the company to marry and start a family, Mary also started teaching dance, firstly on the Kapiti Coast and later in Wellington. A sharp step sideways saw her start a career in IT – from humble beginnings as a temp at Computerland Wellington, Mary progressed to purchasing manager for Computerland NZ and then to one of the top account managers in the company before being recruited by Compaq Computers as a business development manager. A return to Computerland in 2001 resulted in further business success as senior account manager for a multinational client.
In 2003 Mary and her husband Glenn decided to make a lifestyle move to Marlborough. Mary gained the role of practice manager at Blenheim’s largest chartered accountancy firm. Although the job, the climate and the people were perfect, the family were across the Cook Strait, so a move back to the North Island was required. The collection of several horses and a goat meant a rural lifestyle was also needed – so the move to the beautiful Horowhenua.
Working here as administration manager for the painting and decorating company established by Mary and Glenn, plus raising calves and caring for both retired and spelling racehorses has given Mary an understanding of the requirements of lifestyle property; she is well placed to consult with you about your lifestyle or residential property requirements. She will work with you to ensure you get the best possible result, whether you are buying or selling.
