Lucinda’s range of skills and knowledge is impressive to say the least! Her comprehensive administration and management skills have developed over many years from her roles in a variety of industries, including the legal sector, medical and even engineering and construction. It is fair to say she can handle anything that comes along.
After earning a scholarship, she studied in Christchurch and gained qualifications in business, computing and applied business practices. Lucinda then went on to work at Duncan Cotterill Solicitors, working in the commercial, investment advisory and estate divisions of the firm.
“I have known Lucinda for 7 years, both on a personal level and on a professional level. I have always found Lucinda to be reliable, honest and with exceptional integrity. I have no doubts that Lucinda will do well as a real estate agent, and wish her well.”
Tessa Hansen- Legal Executive, Duncan Cotterill Solicitors
After spending some time working in Australia at a large medical practice, contracting opportunities arose for Lucinda’s partner, Cody, resulting in them relocating back to NZ and moving to Invercargill. Lucinda resumed work in the medical industry by working at a local medical practice.
“Lucinda originally joined our practice staff as a Casual/Temp, but we soon realised the value of her skills and made her job permanent quickly thereafter. She proved to be adaptable within her role, was able to learn new tasks effortlessly, and became an important member of the team at Victoria Avenue Medical Centre.”
Andrew Doherty- MB ChB MRCP MRCGP, Victoria Avenue Medical Centre
No stranger to the stress of moving house, Lucinda has since moved herself, Cody and their two cats all over the country following Cody’s work and even contracting herself as a Site Administrator. Lucinda thoroughly enjoys interior design and redecorating and relished the opportunity to do so with each move. Living away meant she has also had time to master her skills in the kitchen with her passion for cooking and baking, as well as give her guitar some much needed attention. While she does enjoy travel, her hometown began calling after living away since the earthquakes and the decision was made to return to Christchurch to settle permanently. Lucinda is looking forward to following the development of the city and its surrounding areas and to spread her optimism for the future of the Garden City.
