With a career spanning over twenty years in sales and administration, Karen McRae is a go-to real estate agent in Mid Canterbury.  Since joining Hastings McLeod Real Estate Ashburton (Property Brokers) in 2002 she has built a loyal client base of repeat clients who appreciate her emphasis on family values, trust and integrity.

Having been raised on a farm near Hinds, she is rurally inclined, but she’s also lived the city life of Christchurch and has been settled back in Ashburton for the last 20 years.  This allows her to relate to home buyers and sellers from all backgrounds.

 

Karen is a mother of two sons, Cameron who is 22 and Ryan (Guppy), 20.  Karen utilizes her flexible schedule to be an active volunteer of the Cancer Society by driving cancer patients to Christchurch for treatment and assisting with fundraising activities.  A highlight is her co-ordination of well-known Cancer Society fundraiser – Relay for Life.

 

In her spare time, Karen enjoys walking, water skiing, tennis and catching up with friends.  She also enjoys golf and is a member of the Ashburton Golf Club’s Promotions Committee.
