Karen McRae

Raised on a farm near Hinds and attended Hinds Primary School and Ashburton College, Karen left school to work at the Ashburton County Council for three years before moving to Christchurch to work in a personnel consulting firm. She then commenced work at Canterbury Brewery as a Personal Assistant in the Sales & Marketing Department for five years.

Karen began work in the office of Hastings McLeod in 2003 before joining the Sales team in 2005. In this time she has successfully helped many clients buy and sell their homes. She provides ongoing communications and personal contact, giving the best possible experience for buyers and sellers, ensuring that the whole process is smooth and as stress free as possible.

Karen was awarded Top Residential Agent for Mid Canterbury, Top Overall Residential Agent Property Brokers South Island and in the Top 20 Property Brokers Agents nationwide for the 2013-2014 financial years.

When not working, Karen enjoys walking, boating, water skiing, tennis, golf and catching up with friends in her spare time. She is a mother of two sons (Cameron – 20 years and Ryan 18 years), and is currently a Volunteer for the Ashburton branch of The Cancer Society as well as being a member of the Ashburton Golf Club’s Promotions Committee.
