Southern Tararua Specialist

John Arends has been dominating rural real estate in the Southern Tararua district since July 2002. In his first year in the industry John was awarded the coveted Property Brokers 'Rookie of the Year' award and he is now a member of the $75 Million Club.

With a straight up and honest attitude to business John is respected in the industry for being someone who gets things done. As part of a team of experts selling rural and lifestyle properties, John brings to the table his excellent negotiating skills, subdivision expertise, sound knowledge of the detail of properties and boundaries, relationships with the local farming community and supporting infrastructure.

Virtually all his life has been spent in the Tararua district. John was raised on a dairy farm just north of Eketahuna and then moved into a career in agricultural flying - both locally and overseas. John is now a father to three girls and lives on a lifestyle block with his wife in what he describes as "the greatest agricultural district of New Zealand".
