Heather Whiting
A Hastings girl originally, Heather Whiting has tasted life in all four corners of the world. Setting off to the Waikato at the age of 16 to pursue her love of horses, the dream became a reality in 1989 as the proud groom for Spyglass who won The DB Auckland Cup. A highlight in her life. Heather then accompanied Spyglass to Australia, Heather's first overseas trip, which spiralled into 9 years of travelling.
Basing herself in England, Heather toured Europe, Britain and Southern Ireland; sat with silver back gorillas in Africa; travelled by train for 36 hours to observe the polar bears at Hudson Bay, Canada; drove across the United States twice; dug a tank of a V8 car out of the sand in Nova Scotia, just to prove that kiwi girls can get out of a fix (even though it took four hours! She only had a garden trowel!), and rubbed shoulders with the rich and famous in the envied world of English Polo, during her 4 year commitment to Kerry Packer and his prestigious Ellerston Polo team.
She now focuses on helping people move to a better place and has seven years experience of selling real estate.
Why Heather is your best choice?
Proficient and enthusiastic, Heather is a natural negotiator with a flair for marketing and a comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace. Approachable - but always professional - integrity is her middle name. You will be bowled over by her determination (remember the car in the sand!) and her ability to go that extra mile. Heather works alongside her clients with a positive and sincere attitude. She will brighten your day with her keen sense of humour.
A skilled communicator, Heather takes particular delight in facilitating the first-home buying process - often a fraught and frightening experience. She will put you at ease and make it a positive, memorable experience. Her impressive sales record and exemplary customer service is evidenced by the high regard in which she is held in both the business and local community.
How do we know all this? The age-old testimonial, clients return, return, and return again.
Property Brokers Waipukurau
From the forest clad slopes of the Ruahine Ranges in the west to the unspoilt beaches of Kairakau, Pourerere, Aramoana, Porangahau and Blackhead in the east, Central Hawke's Bay has it all.
Property Brokers are proud to be amongst and part of so many country towns with such a strong sense of community.
The Property Brokers' real estate office was opened in mid 1987 with four staff. It was a specialist real estate office not aligned to any of the stock firms, which was the norm for the time.
The original office was absorbed into the Property Brokers Limited mantle in 1998 as a branch, and has a current staff of nine people with one part-time person. The office is located centrally in the main street of Waipukurau in a 90 year old character building.
The main focus of activity for the Central Hawke's Bay staff is rural, lifestyle and residential properties with growing emphasis on coastal properties, commercial and rental property management.
Property Brokers prides itself on backing the community. They are proud sponsors of the Waipawa Bowling Club, the Ross Shield Rugby Team, the Waipukurau Golf Club, AW Parsons Stadium and support local schools. The individuals in our team are associated with the Waipawa Fire Brigade, Central Hawke's Bay Country Music Club, (both locally and internationally), the Waipukurau Golf Club, Weta (we encourage the arts), Smedley Old Boys Association, Takapau Junior Rugby, British Car Club, RSA and the Model T Ford Club of NZ and support many local activities throughout the area.
