Being the son of one of the founders of the business Colin McLeod, Hamish has been associated with Hastings McLeod Ltd his entire life. Hamish grew up in Ashburton, where from a very young age he took a strong interest in Real Estate and Auctioneering. After completing high school in Christchurch, he went on to complete a Business Management and Marketing Degree, and then began his career with Harcourts in the Christchurch City office where he spent 3 years selling, auctioneering and completing his real estate management papers.


In 2008 the opportunity came for Hamish to return to Hastings McLeod Ltd after purchasing their North Canterbury Business, a move he has really enjoyed. Over the past 5 years he has managed the Rangiora and Amberley branches through strong and challenging markets, and has developed a team that has a really strong culture and focus on success.
