The Pahiatua branch of Property Brokers has deep roots in what is known as 'The Bush' district. Seven Property Brokers' agents have an excellent knowledge of what is happening in Pahiatua, Woodville and Eketahuna. Their eyes and ears extend into the rural hinterland from Mt Bruce in the south to Papatawa in the north, the Tararua Ranges in the west, to the Pacific Ocean to the east. This is all part of the larger 'Tararua' district renowned for its eastern beaches, large farming industry and more recently the Tararua and Te Apiti Windfarm. Another icon most North Islanders are familiar with is the significant 'Tui Brewery' and its equally honourable historic 'Tui Tower' plus the recently added 'Histui' museum situated in the newly created 'Tui Headquarters' located at the brewery just out of the township of Pahiatua. The real estate office which is now firmly Property Brokers has actually been operating in Pahiatua for over 120 years (under various names) Current manager, John Arends, purchased a shareholding in the Pahiatua business in 2007 and continues to work as an integral part of the Property Brokers family. The enthusiastic staff have grown from just two in 1990 to eight experienced and capable Property Brokers' salespeople as well as 2 support staff and a property manager. In early 2009 Property Brokers Pahiatua opened a satellite office in Woodville providing a base for all real estate activities in the town including property management. Property Brokers Pahiatua is very active in the community, is a major sponsor of the Bush Rugby and Eketahuna Rugby Clubs, the Pahiatua Repertory Society and the Bush Multisports Trust along with dozens of other smaller schools and organisations.
