Property Brokers Limited. is the first real estate company to respond to the increasing demand to live in Clive township and the surrounding coastal regions of Haumoana, Te Awanga and Wiamarama. The new office at 187 Main Street, Clive was opened in October 2007 with a team dedicated to becoming the "specialists" in the area. All the Property Brokers' sales team live either in Clive or in one of the coastal townships, and this is an important part of the company's philosophy for the branch - "locals looking after the real estate needs of other locals". Clive is located between Napier and Hastings on State Highway 2, mainly south of the Clive River and spreading eastwards out to the coast. It is primarily a low density residential area extending to rural and lifestyle between the townships. The Clive River is an integral part of life in the community and attracts recreational activities such as rowing, jet-skiing, wake-boarding, fishing and whitebaiting. Clive itself has a population which has grown over the past six years by over 18% to a level of approximately 1,600 currently. The Clive/Haumoana/Te Awanga area is expected to be one of the leading housing growth areas over the next few years. There is a year one to six primary school, community police station, a small commercial area, medical centre, motel and churches serving the area. And now a real estate agent!
